How to set up a Stripe account (Event Directors, Club Programs, and Organization Owners only)

Log in or Create an Account:

• Make sure you're logged in to your account.
• • Note: Even if you already have a Stripe account, you need to set up a new Stripe account through Scorbots platform. This is essential for successful payouts. 

Select Your Role:

• Ensure your role is selected as Event Director, Event Staff, or Organization Owner, or Team Owner within Scorbot.

Navigate to Payouts:

• Go to your Dashboard and find the "Payouts" section.
• Once you have selected this section, you will be redirected to the Stripe onboarding platform.

Enter Contact Information:

1. • Provide your email address and phone number.

Verify Your Identity:

1. • Stripe will send a verification code to your phone. Enter it into the required fields.

Specify Business Type:

1. • Indicate the type of business you'll be receiving payouts for.

Verify Personal Details:

1. • Enter your legal name, date of birth, and home address, and social security number.

Provide Business Details:

1. • Fill in the necessary information about your business. Consider selecting "Other entertainment and recreation" under the "Entertainment and Recreation" tab.

Choose a Payout Account:

1. • Select a bank account or debit card for payouts.

Connect Bank Account or Enter Card Details:

1. • If using a bank account, log in to your bank through Stripe's Link. If using a debit card, enter the card information.

Review and Submit:

1. • Double-check all information for accuracy, then submit.

Access Stripe Dashboard:

• • Your Stripe information will now be available on your Stripe Dashboard, accessible from your account Dashboard.

IMPORTANT:

If your Stripe account is not fully verified (Address Verification, Email Verification, etc.) Stripe will flag your account. It is crucial that these issues are resolved, or payouts will be paused until this information has been verified or corrected. 

This error message will be found at the top of your Dashboard on the right hand side.
